Esta fruta de color naranja brillante con forma de huevo incluso tiene su <a href=\"http:\/\/atlasobscura.com\/foods\/achachairu-achacha\">propio festival<\/a>. Tambi\u00e9n es popular <a href=\"https:\/\/familiakitchen.com\/es\/?s=yuca\">yuca<\/a>, un tub\u00e9rculo muy apreciado y utilizado como sustento en las regiones tropicales de todo el mundo. En Santa Cruz de la Sierra, una de las ciudades m\u00e1s grandes de Bolivia, la yuca es la estrella de una comida callejera llamada zonzo o sonso. Este pseudocereal (proviene de una planta con flores, no de una hierba) est\u00e1 repleto de fibra saludable y antioxidantes. Un plato local favorito elaborado con quinua es el pastel de quinua. A diferencia de su nombre, el pastel de quinua es <em>no<\/em> un pastel dulce. Es un pan salado elaborado con quinua, especias y queso fresco. No ver\u00e1 muchos mariscos.
