Esta combinaci\u00f3n familiar de yuca, ajo, cebollas salteadas y lima crea una sensaci\u00f3n de calidez y nostalgia de mi infancia\u201d, dice Emily. Tambi\u00e9n conocida como yuca, la yuca es un tub\u00e9rculo con almid\u00f3n nutritivo y asequible que se come en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina y es especialmente popular en Cuba y Puerto Rico. Cuando era ni\u00f1a, mi madre agregaba lima a todas nuestras verduras para realzar el sabor del plato.
