Rosita Camarena

Rosita Camarena learned to cook from her mother and sister when she was growing up in Mexico. She owns and runs La Esperanza, a Mexican restaurant in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood and home of the winning mole in Pilsen’s 2021 Mole de Mayo festival. “God put this in my hands, this opportunity to have a restaurant and work hard to feed others.”
