Isabel Wright
Isabel Wright was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and spent her early years there before moving to rural Virginia. She enjoys finding ways to celebrate Latinx culture in everyday life, whether it’s cooking family recipes, dancing salsa while cleaning the house, writing prose and poetry, or participating in local diversity and inclusion initiatives. She currently lives in North Carolina and works in the public health field, focusing on infectious disease research.
